We’re extremely excited the opening of our new office in Kortrijk. This not only enhances our service to local customers but also caters to the growing demand for Azure expertise in (West) Flanders. Under the roof of Cronos aan de Leie, we have the opportunity to collaborate with Noest (once again), Microsoft’s premier specialist in areas such as application modernisation, Power Platform, and custom software. Our Kortrijk team, and by extension all of Arxus, is excited to give it all they’ve got! 

In 2017, the Cronos Group gained a foothold on the Nijverheidskaai in Kortrijk. The Cronos aan de Leie initiative seamlessly aligned with the (growth) philosophy and rapidly evolved into a success story where the local essence plays a significant part. That local essence is something we also attach great importance to at Arxus.  

That is precisely why Arxus aan de Leie is a logical new chapter in our narrative, which boasts around 200 cloud experts in 2023. Operating from the premises of Cronos aan de Leie, we can not only cater to the growing demand for Azure expertise in (West) Flanders but also readily make on-site visits to our local customers, thus bringing us closer to them, both literally and figuratively.  

“In addition, we can now also offer our local employees a permanent workplace closer to home,” adds our Managing Partner Erlend Schenkels. “As an extension of our Cloud Custodian Tribe, we primarily bring our Azure expertise to Kortrijk, but that certainly doesn’t mean our other services are not available to local customers. Furthermore, from Kortrijk, we can also work closely with Noest, a partner within the Cronos Group with whom we have already worked successfully in the past.”

And our collaboration with Noest has certainly paid off in the past. The amalgamation of our expertise in all things cloud and their knowledge in application modernisation, shop floor, and CPQ systems, culminating in the establishment of the managed application services partner CloudFuel in 2021. 

“Moreover, Noest also takes the local essence fully to heart,” adds Erlend. “We are therefore looking forward to continuing this synergy, and together with our ambitious and growing team in Kortrijk, to make our mark even more in West Flanders and beyond.” 

Join our stream of success 

At Arxus, we can therefore safely call 2023 a successful (growth) year. Earlier this year, we signed one of the world's largest Microsoft Azure contracts together with the Cronos Group. A realisation that once again underlines our status as a global Azure leader. In addition, like in 2022, this year we were elected as Microsoft Partner of the Year in Belgium. 

Of course, we would also like to include our customers in this stream of success.
