Either they were limited by the minimal functionality of these -often stuck together- solutions, or they dipped into an open cloud platform and followed an ineffective strategy.
The main goal was to allow employees to work remotely until the pandemic could be addressed at the government level. But now we are almost two years down the road and it can no longer be called a temporary phase. In fact, it has become the new normal.
As a result, many companies are left with ineffective solutions and strategies that hurt productivity and slow business growth.
There are many reasons why companies struggle with productivity through their current solutions for hybrid working.
First. the solutions are not always the most appropriate for their business. Employees may be able to work remotely, but that may not be the best solution for the company's specific challenges and goals.
Accessibility is another important issue. Because the situation and needs of each employee working remotely vary greatly, it can be difficult to find a one-size-fits-all solution. And if the application or platform cannot be adapted to the needs of the employees, it quickly takes its toll on productivity.
